Social Good Summit is back! This is Rappler’s biggest annual gathering of changemakers, partners, and leaders across different sectors. This year’s event will be on October 19, 2024, and will take place at the Teresa Yuchengco Auditorium of De La Salle University Manila, from 9 am to 6 pm.
If you’re attending the summit, be sure to drop by the XChange area at the Pardo Hall Lobby, 5th Floor, Henry Sy Sr. Hall. Here, you can interact with some of our partners and get to see firsthand how they use technology to tell stories and empower fellow changemakers.
You can also get prizes by claiming a passport and getting this stamped by booths across XChange.
Here are the booths you can explore at XChange:
Write your thoughts at the FNF Freedom Wall
The Friedrich Naumann Foundation (FNF) is a non-profit organization that originated in Germany. The group focuses on civic education and promotes freedom, liberalism, democracy, human rights, and curbing climate change among other advocacies.
Visit the “For Freedom” booth where you can share your thoughts by writing or drawing on FNF’s freedom wall. You can also get to know the different advocacies that FNF supports through an audio-visual presentation and receive giveaways.

Get to know Rai
Rai is Rappler’s chatbot and was first introduced during last year’s Social Good Summit. During last year’s summit, Rai moderated a focus group discussion through the aiDialogue chatroom where users conversed on how AI should be governed.
Rai then synthesized discussions, followed up with smart questions, and created policy ideas based on people’s conversations in the chatroom.
This year, Rai is getting big updates. Rai has evolved from being an AI moderator into a conversational chatbot that can answer complex inquiries and will be integrated into the Rappler Communities app. The difference between Rai and other chatbots, however, is that Rai will only use information that has been vetted and published by Rappler.
Rai is still under beta testing, but you can get a preview of how we are developing Rai for public use through our Rai test booth.
Vote for the Philippines you want
We always vote for personalities. But as we tick names on the ballot, let’s keep in mind WHY we are voting for them: because we have a vision for the Philippines. Rappler invites you to VOTE FOR THE PHILIPPINES YOU WANT. Describe the kind of country you want our 2025 electoral candidates to work towards. Drop it in our ballot box and we will feature them during the program.
