BACOOR, Philippines – Watch the Make Cavite Liveable Elections Kapihan on this page on Saturday, April 12, at 4 pm.
Rappler will be livestreaming the elections forum from the University of Perpetual Help Molino campus. Watch Cavite local candidates talk about their platforms and how they would address issues that matter to Caviteños.
In a community chat on April 7, Cavite residents spoke about topics they want the candidates to tackle: traffic, lack of open spaces, water, crime and security, and more. You can backread the live chat here, in the Liveable Cities public chat room.
This elections kapihan is co-organized by Rappler and our Cavite partners: University of Perpetual Help Molino Campus, College of Arts and Sciences, and College of Education, University of Perpetual Help System Dalta (UPHSD) Communication Society, and the Cavite State University Journalism Guild.
Coffee for participants will be provided by Middle Kid Cafe, a Bacoor-based coffee shop.
This kapihan is also done in partnership with information integrity coalition #FactsFirstPH. Be part of the forum by sharing your thoughts, insights, and questions for candidates in the Liveable Cities chat room. Help us uphold facts and provide context by weighing in on promises and claims made by the candidates during the forum.
