MANILA, Philippines – Super Typhoon Pepito (Man-yi) forced tens of thousands of Filipinos to evacuate, as it brought torrential rain, strong winds, floods, and storm surge in parts of Luzon and Visayas.
Especially affected is the Bicol region, still reeling from the effects of Severe Tropical Storm Kristine (Trami), which also brought intense rain and floods in late October.
Several organizations have begun relief operations and donation drives to help affected communities. Rappler, through its Project Agos disaster response initiative, is collating all these efforts into one page.
Rappler staff have vetted all the initiatives found in these pages. If you wish to bring our attention to other noteworthy relief efforts, you can send a message to the Project Agos public chat room in the Rappler Communities app.
