MANILA, Philippines – Heavy rainfall from Tropical Storm Kristine (Trami) has brought flooding to parts of Luzon and the Visayas since Tuesday, October 22.
In the Bicol region especially, extensive flooding has overwhelmed rescue teams, with the Naga City government calling on the national government and the private sector to lend trucks for rescue operations.
Tropical Storm Kristine is still expected to gradually intensify into a severe tropical storm.
Several organizations have already set up relief initiatives and donation drives to help communities affected by Kristine. Here is a running list of relief initiatives you can support to help affected communities:

ACT NCR Union is accepting monetary and in-kind donations to augment their relief efforts for affected families in Luzon and other parts of the country.

Brigada Kalikasan is calling for monetary donations to support farmers and residents in affected communities.

The Volume Project, in cooperation with Creatives With Leni, is relaunching its #BraverTogether-ArtRescuePH Fundraiser initiative to support those affected by Tropical Storm Kristine. The project is accepting monetary donations, along with product options. All proceeds will go to on-the-ground operations in Bicol.

Tulong Kabataan PH, through its local center Tulong Kabataan-Bicol, is seeking monetary donations to support relief and evacuation efforts for those affected in Bicol. The donations will be used so they can reach more communities and continue their efforts.
UP Harong
The University of the Philippines Harong is accepting monetary donations for its “Sugpon Camarines Sur Program” drive to help those affected in Camarines Sur.
