MANILA, Philippines – In the months leading up to the 2025 Philippine midterm elections, Rappler will be holding a series of live chats aimed at making Filipino voters more informed and empowered.
These #AmbagNatin community chats will take place in various public chat rooms in the Rappler Communities app, which can be downloaded for free from App Store and Play Store.
In these live chats, Rappler reporters, civic engagement specialists, and other staff will engage in conversations with invited resource persons — experts, civil society leaders, think tanks, public officials, and more — about the elections, assessing candidates and platforms, electoral processes, and more.
Through these live chats, anyone will be able to ask questions to resource persons and Rappler journalists, to help them make better choices of political leaders come election day in May 2025.
Aside from #AmbagNatin live chats, concerned citizens can interact with Rappler’s election coverage and voter empowerment campaigns by joining the Voter Hotline chat room, a public chat room where any member can directly ask questions to the Commission on Elections (Comelec) about any aspect of elections — whether it’s information about voting, reporting election violations, or verifying information being spread about elections.
