There is a need – an urgent one – to make the voter the central figure in the 2022 elections.
The COVID-19 pandemic has exposed deep-seated issues in health, education, transportation, and governance. With a lot at stake in the 2022 Philippine elections, voters must exercise their individual civic duty and make use of their collective power in shaping the nation’s future.
To help make that happen, several organizations from various sectors, including MovePH, Rappler’s civic engagement arm, have formed the #PHVote coalition. We promote avenues for civic participation in the coming elections, work to increase voter registration and turnout, and fight election-related disinformation.
