More than a year into the pandemic, the Philippines remains under various levels of community quarantine. This affected the operations of public transportation, recreational spaces, and establishments.
Because of this, more and more citizens sought other modes of transportation, and one of these is biking.
The pandemic bike boom prompted not only the construction of metro bike lanes but also the formation of communities as well. Through cycling, more individuals became more active in biking communities.
