Over the last five years, amid killings and abuses enabled by a culture of impunity, and inadequate government response to pressing problems, Filipinos have stood their ground and helped each other.
We at Rappler believe that there are many untold stories of the bayanihan spirit, besides the running narrative of “change.”
Our slogan for the 2022 elections #WeDecide: Atin ang Pilipinas calls for our collective power to voice our stories, to decide on the change we want to see in 2022, and to pull this nation back up.
Rallying our collective power does not only mean rallying a mob. It starts with an individual; with one vote. Together, let’s encourage our communities to register to vote.
Help us tell your stories. We encourage everyone to submit a video explaining why they registered and why they think others should register to vote too.
Guidelines for video recording
- Use earphones for clearer audio and if possible, shoot in a noise-free location
- Include or change the file name to your name and occupation (ex. Juan_DelaCruz_student)
- Record yourself looking at the camera for one minute. Shoot in landscape orientation and medium framing (head to chest area should be visible with headroom).
You may submit your video at move.ph@rappler.com with the subject “#WeDecide video.”
Videos submitted will be posted on Rappler’s social media accounts, and will be compiled in a #WeDecide video campaign.
